Over the past 20 years, Mark has helped build some of the recruitment industry’s best-in-class brands. Having spent 10 years+ in board-level positions, his experiences to date include helping energise a high-growth brand and take it towards sale; gaining international experience with a FTSE listed company; launching start-ups and most recently, participating in the successful turnaround of a specialist recruitment brand dedicated to the creative, marketing & digital markets.

A little about Mark…

If you could master a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
I’d become a top golfer, follow the sunshine and join the PGA tour or whatever they call it nowadays 😉

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a pilot which is hilarious as most of my friends know I am not the best flyer nowadays. You know, the person that grabs the back of the chair during turbulence – yes that’s me.

What would you improve about the recruitment industry?
Well, where do I start with this one 😎. I’m passionate about our industry and its reputation; so, I’d love to see bad operators that give us a bad name removed from the sector. I’d also like to further promote clients to get with the programme on Diversity & Inclusion, encouraging them to build real processes and stop paying lip service to this important subject and ultimately open up the talent pools.
